PIP Kuhinja is the PIP chart with a strategy kitchen inside. You chart, draw and set price alerts as on any chart, and in the Chef panel you combine textbook ingredients into a recipe and test it on past candles. It is a learning tool, not a signal service.
Who can use it#
Every logged-in member. With an approved broker account you see live prices; during the trial and while your broker account is being checked or has expired you see the same candles 30 minutes delayed. See Scanner: live or demo.
PIP Kuhinja needs a current browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox).
The chart#
Gold, the Dow (US 30), bitcoin and EUR/USD (history only). Timeframes from seconds to monthly, indicators, drawing tools, layouts with up to four charts, a watchlist and price alerts. Your layouts, drawings, watchlist, settings and alerts are saved to your PIP account.
The ingredients#
Liquidity, patterns, pivots, market structure, fair value gaps, order blocks, sessions, VWAP, moving averages, RSI, ATR bands, volume, round numbers, price and time. Each one is a textbook tool you can switch on and read on the chart. Open the Chef panel (the pot button) to use them. The Chef cooks on 1m, 5m, 15m, 1H, 4H, 1D and 1W.
Cooking a recipe#
- 1 Put ingredients into the pot and set the conditions that must all be true.
- 2 Choose the entry: at the signal candle's close, at the next candle's open, or a limit order at a level.
- 3 Choose the stop: beyond the recent candles, a multiple of ATR, beyond a level, or a fixed number of pips.
- 4 Choose the target: a multiple of the risk (R), the opposite liquidity pool, the next pivot level, or a level.
- 5 Add your house rules if you want.
Ready-made templates are examples from trading books, not advice.
The taste test#
The taste test runs your recipe on past candles and shows the results in R (1 R = the distance to your stop), an equity curve and a day-and-hour map.
Past candles only. Past results do not predict future results, and tests cannot show real fills. Test on more data and other markets before you trust a recipe.
Saving and sharing#
- Recipes are saved on this device only. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
- Export file keeps a copy; Import brings it back on another device.
- Share code gives you a text code another member can paste.
- Recipes and drawings you made on the old PIP Chef page appear here by themselves.
Trading carries a high risk of loss. See the Risk Disclosure.
